APPOINTMENT OF GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE

The Directors of Adam & Harvey Group PLC (the 'Company') confirm the appointment
with immediate effect of Mr Anthony (Tony) Patterson as an executive director
and Group Chief Executive.

This appointment follows shareholders' approval at an Extraordinary General
Meeting of the Company held today of the adoption of The Adam & Harvey Group PLC
1999 Executive Share Option Scheme and The Adam & Harvey Employee Benefit Trust,
under which it is proposed to grant Tony Patterson a performance-related share
option.
