ATCO Structures & Logistics Ltd. (ASL), announced today the opening of a new
branch office in Anchorage, Alaska. The international company has identified
Alaska as an important area of growth for its unique products and services.

"Alaska has been an important market to ATCO for decades," said Harry Wilmot,
President, ATCO Structures & Logistics. "This expansion will allow us to work
even closer with our aboriginal and joint venture partners as well as local
clients."

The expansion comes as ATCO is constructing a 78-person camp south of Fairbanks,
Alaska. The camp is being built to U.S. code requirements and includes
newly-manufactured accommodations, kitchen, dining room, recreation and office
facilities for a mining project. Project completion is expected in late
November.

"The design and quality of our product was originally proven in Alaska," said
Wilmot. "We built our reputation in tough northern climates and we believe in
the Alaskan market."

ASL's housing experience in Alaska dates back to the late '70s when the company
provided workforce housing along the Alyeska pipeline. Those early units were
capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and winds of 120 miles per hour.

Today, ASL's offerings have expanded to include rentals of modular offices,
construction, camp catering, logistics, support services and noise reduction
technologies. Together with its aboriginal partners, the company also operates
and maintains radar and site communication equipment on 62 radar sites across
the north, including 15 radar sites in Alaska under contract with the United
States Air Force.
