Alaska to Resume Portland Schedule SEATTLE, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ --
Alaska Airlines gets back to its normal schedule of flights at
Portland International Airport tomorrow, Saturday, January 10. For
the past three days the airline has been unable to operate due to
continuing severe winter weather that has impacted the city and the

Airlines passengers were affected by the storm. "We want to thank
all of our loyal customers, especially those in the Portland area,
for their patience and understanding. We know how difficult this
has been for the traveling public and we regret the inconvenience
these conditions created," said George Bagley, executive vice
president of operations. "In addition, I want to personally extend
my thanks to the men and women of Alaska Airlines who gave so much
of themselves this week under truly adverse circumstances." Bagley
said the first flights of the day from Portland to Phoenix, San
Francisco and San Jose are scheduled to depart at 6:40 a.m. on
Saturday. Alaska serves 14 destinations from Portland. They include
Anchorage, Burbank, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland,
