At 2:00 am ET Thursday, German trade data for December has been released. After the data, the euro changed little against its major rivals.

The euro was worth 1.2272 against the greenback, 134.66 against the yen, 1.1589 against the franc and 0.8830 against the pound around 2:03 am ET.
