INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT

This Tender Offer Statement on Schedule TO is filed by The Gabelli Go Anywhere Trust (the “Fund”) and relates to a pre-commencement communication by the Fund with respect to the Fund’s common shares of beneficial interest, par value $0.001 per share (“Common Shares”).

On May 14, 2021, the Fund issued a press release containing information about the Fund’s intention to commence a tender offer for any and all Common Shares at a price to be determined by the Fund’s Board of Trustees and expressed as a percentage (but not less than 95%) of the net asset value per Common Share (the “Tender Offer”). The Tender Offer will only be made to current holders of Common Shares (“Shareholders”). Upon commencement of the Tender Offer, the Fund will file with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) a Schedule TO containing an offer to purchase, forms of letters of transmittal and related exhibits. These documents will contain important information about the Tender Offer and Shareholders are urged to read them carefully when they become available.
