Tarpon Industries to Supply Storage Racks for Menards National Distribution Center

Tarpon Industries, Inc. (AMEX:TPO), a manufacturer and distributor
of structural and mechanical steel tubing and engineered steel
storage rack systems, today announced that the company has received
a letter of intent ("LOI") from Menards, an industry leader in home
improvement, for Tarpon�s SpaceRak� division to supply storage
racks for Menard�s national distribution center in Shelby, Iowa.
The LOI is valued at $1.2 million, and shipments are expected to be
completed by May of 2007. Menards owns and operates a chain of
stores in the Midwestern United State. The company was founded in
1962 and is headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. As of January
2006, Menards operated 205 stores in 11 states. �The expansive
