After hitting a 6-day high of 550.65 by about 8:45 am ET, the US currency declined against the Chilean peso during New York afternoon trading on Wednesday. At 12:35 pm ET, the greenback slipped to 546.95 versus the peso, compared to 547.50 hit late New York Tuesday. At present, the pair is worth 548.45.
