Peabody's response to Covid-19

Peabody's business continuity and pandemic response plans were activated on 21 February 2020 to ensure a good level of preparedness. We continue to follow the advice of Government and Public Health England and our frontline teams continue to provide essential services to support people who rely on us

During this unprecedented crisis, Peabody's focus has been on three key priorities.

-- To protect our teams, residents and the people who benefit from our care and support services;

   --    To continue providing essential services; and 
   --    To proactively inform, engage and support the most vulnerable in our communities. 

We entered this period with a strong liquidity position and appropriate control and governance procedures in place. The financial impacts of the current environment, which remain uncertain, are being assessed through detailed monitoring and reporting of cashflows. We have robust measures in place to ensure that systems and payment processes continue with minimal disruption.

Our strong financial planning procedures and stress testing mean that we are prepared to manage the impacts and potential impacts and we can continue to deliver on our organisational priorities throughout the covid-19 pandemic and beyond.
