Publication of Supplemental Prospectus

Nomura Bank International plc (the "Issuer") announces that a supplement dated 26 November 2010 (the "Supplement") to the base prospectus dated 27 August 2010 (the "Base Prospectus") relating to its Note, Certificate and Warrant Programme has been approved by the UK Listing Authority and is available for viewing.

The Supplement amends the Final Terms dated 15 October 2010 (the "Final Terms") in respect of the issue of up to SEK 500,000,000 Collared STIBOR Notes (ISIN: SE0003557925). A copy of the Final Terms, updated to reflect the amendments made pursuant to the Supplement (shown with changes in blackline text), is annexed to the Supplement.

The Supplement and the Base Prospectus will be made available to investors free of charge upon request during normal business hours from Monday to Friday each week (public holidays excepted) from and including the date of the publication of the Supplement at the registered offices of:

(a) Nomura Bank International plc, being at Nomura House, 1 St. Martin's-le-Grand, London, EC1A 4NP; and

(b) Nomura International plc, being at Nomura House, 1 St. Martin's-le-Grand, London, EC1A 4NP.

A copy of the Supplement has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at: www.Hemscott.com/nsm.do.
