                PROPOSED RELOCATION OF THE GROUP HOLDING COMPANY



At today's Annual General Meeting, Professor Sir Andrew Likierman, AIC's
Chairman, made the following statement:


"I am pleased to report today that AIC proposes to relocate the group holding
company from Nevada (USA) to Jersey (Channel Islands).


"As a company registered in Nevada, AIC is currently restricted in its ability
to participate in CREST, and all of the issued shares in AIC are in certificated
form. The Directors believe that this is adversely affecting the liquidity of
AIC's shares on AIM.  Therefore the principle purpose of such a relocation to
Jersey would be to facilitate participation in CREST and thereby enhance
liquidity.



"We are continuing to take financial, legal and tax advice on the most
efficacious means of achieving this and will report on our progress.  We hope to
complete the process in the first quarter of 2008, subject to the necessary
conditions being satisfied. The proposals are subject to the recent SEC
announcement concerning revisions to Rule 144 and will take account of the
changes they involve as they affect AIC.



"As stated in the Company's Annual Report, AIC has enjoyed a good year since its
flotation on AIM in January 2007. A number of important milestones were achieved
during the year and we look forward to continued progress in 2008 and beyond."
