Sale of Shares by a Director


The Company has been informed today that Mr J. Beattie, a director of the
Company, has sold today 78,823 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company
("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 158p per share.


Following the sale of the Ordinary Shares Mr J. Beattie has a beneficial
interest of 9,150 Ordinary Shares representing 0.01% per cent of the total
issued Ordinary Share Capital. Mr J. Beattie also has options over a further
150,000 Ordinary Shares.
