Amstrad plc Appointment of Non Executive Director



Amstrad plc is pleased to announce that at a Board meeting today Mr Claude
Littner was appointed a Non-Executive Director of the Company. At the same
meeting Mr Jeoff Samson, a Non Executive Director, announced that he planned to
retire from the Board in October 2007 after completing his role as Chairman of
the Audit Committee for the accounts for the year ending 30 June 2007.


Mr Littner is currently Executive Chairman of AIM listed Powerleague Group plc
and Aspire Oil Services Ltd. He is a Non-Executive Director of Blacks Leisure
Group plc, Norton Way Motors Ltd and Myeloma UK. He was Chief Executive of
Tottenham Hotspur plc from 1993 to 1998 and a Non Executive Director until 2000.
He was Executive Chairman of Asco plc from 2004 to 2007. In the early 1990s he
held a variety of senior positions within Amstrad plc.
