Result of Extraordinary General Meeting

The Board of Africa Opportunity Fund Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the resolution proposed by the Company in its notice of extraordinary general meeting, dated 24 June 2024, was today approved by its shareholders at the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting.

 

Details of the votes validly cast are set out below:

 

·      ​Ordinary resolution that the New Investment Policy and other changes to its governance arrangements described in Part III of the circular dated 24 June 2024 (the 'Circular'), of which this Notice forms part, is approved and adopted in substitution for, and to the exclusion of, the Company's existing investment policy; and

 

·      The continuation of the Company be and is hereby approved.
