shares of the above company on 05 August 2002, on behalf of St Davids Investment 
Trust PLC.

St Davids Investment Trust PLC now holds 4,020,749 shares representing 3.87% of 
the issued share capital of that class (previously 7.22%).

Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited also write to inform you that they sold 
3,017,083 shares of the above company on 05 August 2002, on behalf of Aberdeen 
Preferred Income Trust PLC.

Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust PLC now holds 3,482,937 shares representing 
3.35% of the issued share capital of that class (previously 6.26%).

The total number of shares now managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited and 
its associated companies is 21,988,406 shares representing 21.16% of the issued 
share capital of that class (previously 27.41%).
