    Ashton Penney Holdings Plc
     ("Ashton Penney" or the "Company")
    Loan from Director

    The Board of the Company announces that it has received a loan of �50,000 from Colin Maitland. The Loan is unsecured and bears interest
at 8.5% per annum and is repayable on or after 3 January 2011. The proceeds will be used by the Company to provide further working capital.


    Colin Maitland is a substantial shareholder and a Director of the Company. The loan is therefore a Related Party Transaction as defined
by AIM Rule 13. The Directors, other than Mr Maitland, consider, having consulted the Company's Nominated Adviser, that the terms of the
transaction are fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned.
