Renewal of Buyback Authority

BlueCrest BlueTrend Limited (the "Company") has today posted a Circular to shareholders convening an Extraordinary General Meeting at which proposals will be put for the renewal of the Company's authority to make market purchases of its Sterling Shares and US$ Shares. Approval of the proposals will enable the Company to continue to implement its discount management policy to buy back shares if they trade at a discount of two per cent or more to the latest published net asset value.

The EGM will be held at 9.00 a.m. on Friday 25 April 2014.

A copy of the Circular, containing the Notice of EGM, has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at:
