                Mr Henry Horne appointed Chief Financial Officer 
 
The Board of Berkeley Resources Limited is pleased to advise that it has engaged 
Mr Henry Horne to become the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.  He will 
assist in leading Berkeley through completion of the feasibility study, 
development of the Salamanca Uranium Project and growth of the Company itself. 
Mr Horne is an outstanding international mining executive who holds a degree in 
Financial Accounting and Business Economics from the University of Stellenbosch 
(South Africa) and has more than 28 years' experience in the mining industry. 
This experience includes senior executive postings at mines in Namibia, South 
Africa, Ghana, Bulgaria, Chile and Russia with companies including Gold Fields, 
Kinross Gold, Navan Mining and Highland Gold. 
Mr Horne has wide general management experience with strong financial, 
administrative and people management skills enhanced by confident negotiating 
abilities.  He has extensive experience of African, Eastern European, Russian 
and North American financial best practices.  In addition he also has 
comprehensive technical and financial knowledge and work experience within the 
gold and base metal mining industry including the development of greenfield 
sites and the preparation of feasibility studies and mine plans. 
Commenting on the appointment, Mr Ian Stalker, Managing Director of Berkeley 
Resources, said "Henry brings to Berkeley a wealth of experience in 
international mining finance and management.  He is an ideal executive to manage 
the legal and administrative operations of the Company and the critical 
financing arrangements necessary to take the Salamanca Uranium Project from 
development to mid-tier uranium producer.  This Spanish based appointment
