BUSINESS SERVE APPOINTS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Business Serve PLC, one of the UK's leading converged communications providers,
offering both traditional ISP products and telecommunications services including
Voice Over Internet Protocol ("VoIP") has appointed Andrew Kimberlee, aged 41,
Technical Director with immediate effect.
Andrew joins Business Serve from Nildram Internet, a Buckinghamshire-based ISP
owned by Pipex, where he was employed as Technical Operations Director
responsible for the delivery of all of the provider's Broadband products and
services, as well as the introduction of a Project Management methodology. He
has in excess of 20 years technical engineering and operations experience within
Voice, Data and IP sectors, working in senior positions at both Radianz and
Telewest, in addition to Nildram. He is also currently a director of Kimberlee
Communications.
Simon Cleaver, Business Serve Chief Executive, said:
"Business Serve's transition to a converged communication provider has resulted
in a broader service offering and far larger addressable market. Consequently,
we need to strengthen our technical and operations division to ensure the
Group's products and services are backed by technical excellence. Andrew has a
strong technical background in both Voice and Data and is therefore an ideal
person to bring increased leadership from a technical perspective
"I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with a Technical
Director as experienced as Andrew. He is a key hire and a welcome addition to
the Executive Team. The Group is focused on strengthening its position as a
market leader and innovator in providing VOIP technology and converged
communication solutions to SMEs, corporates and retail customers."
Andrew Kimberlee, Business Serve Technical Director, said:
"I see this as an excellent time to be joining Business Serve. I am very
impressed with the technical framework the company has in place as well as with
the quality of people behind that framework particularly given the company's
size. Combining this infrastructure with its 'fleet of foot' capabilities means
it can compete head on with anyone in this marketplace from a technical
perspective but also deliver that extra bit of flexibility and personalised
approach that tends to be lacking from the industry stalwarts. I think the next
few years are going to be great for Business Serve."
There is no further information to disclose in respect of Andrew Kimberlee under
paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 to the AIM rules.
