Grant of Options



Brightview plc ("the Company")



On 21 December 2006, the Company granted options to David Laurie and David
Stirling, both Directors of the Company, over ordinary shares of 1p each in the
Company.



4,250,000 options were awarded to Mr Laurie. 50% of these options are
exercisable at 14.5pence and the balance at 19 pence. 952,380 shares have been
granted under the existing EMI scheme and the balance has been granted under the
unapproved scheme.



1,250,000 options were awarded to Mr Stirling. 50% of these options are
exercisable at 14.5pence and the balance at 19 pence. 952,380 shares have been
granted under the existing EMI scheme and the balance is exercisable under the
unapproved scheme.



The total number of shares over which Mr Laurie holds options following this
notification is 4,250,000; and the total number of shares over which Mr Stirling
holds options is 1,250,000.
