                          Option to Acquire Bake Media

Blue Star Mobile Group plc ("Blue Star" or "the Company"), the AIM-listed
provider of entertainment and promotional content via mobile phones, announces
that it has entered into an exclusive 6 month option agreement to acquire Bake
Ltd ("Bake" or "Bake Media).

Bake Media is a specialist in the aggregation, creation, production and
formatting of video content for portable media devices, including 3G mobile
handsets. Bake has agreements with content providers including Endemol, Beggars
Banquet/XL Recordings, Ministry of Sound, Sanctuary Group, V2 Records, in
addition to distributors including O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and recently Motorola
via the 'HelloMoto' websites across EMEA territories. Their range of services
includes the production of entertainment content including music videos and
broadcast TV series.

Steve Clarke, Chief Executive, Blue Star Mobile Group plc, said: 'This move fits
firmly within our business strategy and will consolidate our position in our
market. The six month agreement will allow us to fully explore the value of
acquiring Bake and allow us to combine their expertise in production with our
extensive relationships within the mobile content market.'

This option to acquire Bake Ltd follows the recent contract gain announced on 13
May 2005 to syndicate the 'Page 3' multimedia content of 'The Sun' newspaper to
network provider 02.

Blue Star has paid #8,000 to Bake Media in consideration for the 6 month
exclusive option. The option is exercisable entirely at the discretion of Blue
Star and should Blue Star decide to exercise the option a further detailed
announcement will be made. The consideration of #150,000 should the option be
exercised, will be satisfied by the issue of Blue Star ordinary shares
