Appointment of Director

Byotrol plc ('Byotrol' or the "Company"), the developer of anti-microbial hygiene technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Martel as Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Martel has 10 years' experience in fund management for Crowton Ltd and Martel Northern Ltd where he has invested in, and supported, numerous high growth companies.

Mr Martel currently acts as consultant to Maunby Investment Management Ltd ("Maunby") which holds 23,699,709 ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") which equates to 16.51 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Martel is not a shareholder in Maunby.

Mr Martel has a personal beneficial interest in 1,600,000 Ordinary Shares equating to 1.11 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Martel also has a non-beneficial interest in 16,843,513 Ordinary Shares equating to 11.73 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Commenting on the appointment, Ralph Kugler, Chairman at Byotrol, said:
