Allotment of Shares

The Company announces that on 17 January 2002 it allotted and issued 15,000 new
ordinary shares of £0.02 each under an issue for cash at a price of £1.42 per
share.

The new shares increase the issued share capital on 17 January 2002 to 5,907,757
ordinary shares.

An application for admission to listing has been made today in respect of the
15,000 new ordinary shares.
