                              Directorate Changes 
 
The Board of CBG Group plc (AIM: CB.), the Manchester-based insurance broker and 
financial services specialist, announces that Laurie Turnbull has informed the 
Company of his intention to step down as Non-Executive Chairman of CBG with 
immediate effect. 
 
The Company is pleased to announce that Robin Slinger, currently a Non-Executive 
Director of the Group, will be appointed as Non-Executive Chairman in place of 
Mr. Turnbull. In addition, Stuart Mollekin, currently Executive Director, 
becomes a Non-Executive Director and Stephen Rees, managing director of the 
Group's Financial Services division, is appointed Financial Services Operations 
Director. 
 
Stephen, aged 49, has over 30 years experience in working in the Financial 
Services sector having started his career at Pointon York Limited at the start 
of the Self Administered Pensions era. He subsequently joined Hornbuckle 
Mitchell Group as a founder employee and was subsequently made a Director of the 
business, helping establish their North West operation. He also had a period at 
BDO Stoy Hayward where he met with Mike Carpenter and set up Carpenter Rees 
Jackson Limited in 1996. Carpenter Rees Jackson Limited was bought by CBG in 
2004 and became the Financial Services division of the group. 
 
Stephen is currently a director of CBG Financial Services Limited and CRJ 
Trustees Limited.

2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
