    CAPE LAMBERT IRON ORE LIMITED

    Exercise of Options and Issue of Shares

    Cape Lambert Iron Ore Limited ("the Company") (ASX: CFE, AIM: CLIO) issued and allotted today (14 October 2008) 491,275 Ordinary Shares
following the exercise of 491,275 ASX listed options of A$0.209 each.

    Application to the London Stock Exchange has been made for these new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It
is expected that Admission will become effective on 20 November 2008.

    The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.

    Following the issue of these shares the Company has 506,787,213 fully paid ordinary shares in issue.
