                            ("CMS" or "the Company") 
              An Update of the Hong Kong Listing and Election Date 
China Medical System Holdings Limited (AIM: CMSH) is pleased to announce that on 
26 August 2010, the listing committee of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited 
("Hong Kong Stock Exchange") considered the Company's application for listing on 
the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (the "Hong Kong Listing"). 
Subject to, among other things, (i) the Hong Kong Stock Exchange confirming that 
it has no further comments on the prospectus of the Company for the Hong Kong 
Listing, (ii) granting the Company formal listing approval on fulfillment of 
various conditions, and (iii) the obligations of the underwriters under the Hong 
Kong Underwriting Agreement and the International Purchase Agreement for the 
Hong Kong Listing having become unconditional and not having been terminated in 
accordance with the terms of the respective agreements, it is currently expected 
that the Hong Kong Listing will occur on 28 September 2010 (Tuesday).  At the 
Company's extraordinary general meeting held on 20 August 2010, shareholders 
approved resolutions relating to, among others, cancellation of the admission of 
the shares of the Company to trading on AIM (the "Delisting") conditional upon 
the Hong Kong Listing occurring and on the same day as the date of the Hong Kong 
Listing.  The resolution approving the Delisting allows the Delisting to occur 
within a three month period from 20 August to 19 November 2010.  Should there be 
a change in the expected date of the Hong Kong Listing and the date of the 
Delisting, the Company will make an announcement regarding such change as soon 
as practicable and in any event not later than ten clear business days in 
advance of the final date of Delisting. 
The Company further announces that, given that it currently expects the Hong 
Kong Listing to occur on 28 September 2010 (Tuesday), the election date (the 
"Election Date") by which shareholders who want their shares to be registered on 
the Hong Kong share register of the Company on the first day of the Hong Kong 
Listing should return their duly completed requests for removal of securities to 
Computershare Investor Services (Jersey) Limited is 6 September 2010 (Monday).
