ATLANTA, June 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
Nationally-recognized non-profit health system Intermountain
Healthcare and Craneware, the market leader in automated revenue
integrity solutions, will present at the Healthcare Financial
Management Association's (HFMA) 2011 ANI: The Healthcare Finance
Conference, June 26-29, in
Orlando, Fla.
During the presentation, "Implementing Sustainable Corporate
Chargemaster Workflows," Intermountain — recognized by President
Obama as a "bellwether in healthcare" — along with Craneware, will
discuss how organizations can improve collaboration across clinical
and financial staff to ensure efficiency, compliance and successful
financial performance in this new era of healthcare. This
presentation will take place on Wednesday,
June 29 at 10 a.m.
"During this presentation, ANI conference attendees will hear
first-hand how our client, industry leading Intermountain
Healthcare, is able to ensure integrated revenue integrity
collaboration among its clinical and financial staff across its
far-reaching hospital and medical facilities," said Craneware CEO,
Keith Neilson. "This presentation
will provide examples of effective strategies that hospital
networks and its physician practices can implement to strengthen
their own financial performance and achieve compliance goals."
Intermountain Healthcare's Director of Revenue Integrity,
Eric Liston, will co-present with
Craneware Business Solutions Consultant, Michael Najera, on how to improve overall
revenue integrity through workflow. The presentation will detail
how workflow directs the teamwork aspect of ensuring effective
clinical input into charge decision-making at Intermountain and
other organizations across the U.S. It will also explain how
workflow provides clinical and financial staff at Intermountain
with efficient access to the current relevant compliance
information they need for accurate charge decision-making and how
it greatly improves time management and task allocation, and
behind-the-scenes automation of its revenue cycle process steps.
Attendees will learn strategies to improve their own system-wide
revenue integrity management with integrated processes.
