ATLANTA, May 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- (HFMA ANI
Booth #403) – Craneware, Inc., the healthcare market leader in
automated value cycle solutions, today announced it was selected to
present at the 2016 Healthcare Financial Management Association's
Annual National Institute (HFMA ANI 2016) alongside its client,
OhioHealth, an 11-hospital, non-profit health system in central
Ohio.
Craneware's Client Success Manager, Emily Casto, and OhioHealth's Business Director
of Pharmacy Services, Tara Hanuscak,
will lead a session titled, "Establishing a Pharmacy Revenue
Integrity Program," on Tuesday, June
28th from 3:30pm to 4:45pm
(PDT). The presentation will describe how OhioHealth
implemented a combination of technologies and best practices to
ensure optimal medication charge capture, minimize compliance risk
and establish ownership of pharmacy revenue cycle functions across
the organization.
"In today's value-based care world, pharmacy departments need to
ensure they capture and retain all revenue earned. To do this,
organizations need to foster enterprise-wide alignment and ensure
that the right processes and technologies are in place," said
Hanuscak. "By partnering with Craneware, we have been able to
accomplish just that, and we look forward to sharing tips with
attendees to help others adapt practices that support optimal
financial performance."
"OhioHealth's program's success is due to thoughtful planning
and careful execution, emphasizing minimizing compliance risks and
establishing accountability for charge capture processes," said
Casto. "We are proud to share our story of how a system-wide focus
on revenue integrity spurred a cross-departmental effort to improve
operational efficiency and increase financial
performance."
This year at HFMA ANI, Craneware will also be scheduling
appointments for attendees to review a customized value
cycle scorecard. The scorecard reviews the provider's key
financial performance metrics against that of peers, highlighting
potential areas for value cycle improvement.
HFMA ANI takes place at The Venetian and the Palazzo Hotel from
June 26th-29th,
2016 in Las Vegas. Stop by booth
