             Debtmatters Group Plc ("Debtmatters" or the "Company")

                         Issue of Equity re Loanmakers

Debtmatters today announces that further to the acquisition of Loanmakers
(Holdings Limited), the FSA registered secured loan brokerage business,
announced on 16 June 2006, it has paid a sum of #1,014,345 and issued 3,828,394
new ordinary 10p shares ("shares") to Kevin Hindley and Tim Wheeldon, the
vendors of that business in deferred consideration.  The cash consideration has
been satisfied from the Company's existing bank facilities.

Accordingly, application has been made for the 3,828,394 Shares to be admitted
for trading on AIM. The shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued
shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 5 October 2007.

Following the issue, the total number of voting rights in issue will be
31,071,499 and Kevin Hindley and Tim Wheeldon will have a beneficial holding of
a total of 2,187,544 and 1,640,850 Shares, representing 7.0% and 5.3% per cent.
