                    Result of extraordinary general meeting


On 5 February 2004 Eurodis Electron announced a Firm Placing and Placing and
Open Offer of 780,000,000 new ordinary shares at an issue price of 5 pence per
new ordinary share.

At the extraordinary general meeting of Eurodis Electron, which took place
earlier today, all resolutions put to shareholders, including those to effect
the Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer, amend the rules of the Company's
Long Term Investment Plan and approve the grant of Special Options andincrease
the limit on fees payable to the directors, were duly passed.

The Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer remain conditional upon, inter alia,
admission of the new ordinary shares to listing on the Official List of the UK
Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for
listed securities, expected to take place on 2 March 2004.
