Luxembourg/Portugal - 31 May 2012 - Espírito Santo Financial Group S.A.("ESFG") (NYSE Euronext Lisbon: ESF; Bloomberg : ESF PL; Reuters: ESF LS) informs that at its re-convened Extraordinary General Meeting held at its registered office at 21/25 Allée Scheffer, L- 2520 Luxembourg on the 31 May 2012 47.8 % of its share capital was represented.

All resolutions were approved unanimously with 9,173 votes against point 2. of the Agenda.
