    At the extraordinary general meeting of F&C Event Driven Limited held on 5 December 2008, the resolution proposed in connection with the
voluntary winding-up of the Company and the appointment of liquidators was passed.

    Accordingly, the Company has been placed into liquidation and WTM Cleghorn CA and ESL Porter ACA of Kinetic Partners Audit LLP have been
appointed as Liquidators.

    It is expected that the first cash distribution will be paid to shareholders on the register as at close of business on 4 December 2008
in the week commencing 22 December 2008.
