Appointment of Director

As indicated in yesterday's AGM statement, the Board recognised that a
non-executive director is required and that an appointment was expected in the
very near future.

The Board of Fii Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment today of Gary
Feast as a non-executive director of the Company effective immediately. The
executive directors look forward to working closely with Gary and, in
particular, from benefiting from his experience as a Fellow of the Association
of Chartered Certified Accountants and heading his own accountancy practice. Mr
Feast also has extensive business experience in the property sector which will
be of value in relation to dealing with the Banbridge site following the
anticipated closure of the Group's manufacturing operations during the first
quarter of 2003.

Gary Feast is currently also a director of the following companies: CM Feast
Limited, Copthorne Developments Limited, Forncross Limited, GF Management
Services Limited, GFMS Directors Limited, GFMS Secretaries Limited, Imperium
Cruises International (UK) Limited, LMA Garages Limited, Meddler Bloodstock
Limited, and Meddler Racing Limited. Gary is also the designated member of
Anderson Feast Professional Limited Liability Partnership.

Gary Feast has been a director of the following companies within the previous
five years: Franklin Data Limited, Mentor Direct Marketing Limited, QAS Services
Limited, S G Associates Limited, Telecorp Limited, Telepeople Limited and Voice
Box Limited.

Fii Group plc confirms that there are no other details which are required to be
disclosed under paragraphs 6F.2(b) to (g) of the UKLA Listing Rules with respect
to Gary Feast.
