First Day of Dealings on AIM
The Company is pleased to announce that, with effect from 7.30am this morning,
the Company's Ordinary Shares have been admitted to trading on AIM.
The issued share capital is 70,700,040 Ordinary Shares of 5p each. The
Company's website is www.galileoresources.com.
Colin Bird, Chairman and CEO commented;
"Galileo Resources Plc is a South African based company with diverse assets in
the Cape and North West Province of South Africa. The flagship property is
Glenover Phosphate (Pty) Ltd. which has a history of Phosphate production but
is known to contain Rare Earths (REE). The REE discovered to date are contained
in Phosphate stockpiles which in themselves represent a mining de-risk
proposition. The company will undertake test work to design the optimum flow
sheet for the recovery of a REE oxide concentrate. Significant potential exists
for exploration of the various mineral types to expand the size of the
operation and to this end an exploration rig is on site and airborne
geophysical work has been undertaken.
Galileo Resources Plc also has an option to participate in the operation and
benefits of a quarry which is located close to major infrastructure projects in
North East Cape. In addition to this we have a number of well situated
exploration targets in the Iron Ore and Manganese regions in South Africa.
We have an excellent Board and Management Team who have strong commercial,
technical and operating experience in South Africa".
