                      Notice of Extended Accounting Period


GeneMedix plc ("the Company") the AIM listed biopharmaceutical company,
announces that, following Reliance Life Sciences Pvt Ltd's ("RLS") acquisition
of a controlling interest in the Company in February 2007, it has applied for an
extension to its accounting period to the 31st March 2007. The previous
accounting period ended on 30th November 2006, and the extension creates a 16
month accounting period. This has been done to bring the Company's accounting
period into line with RLS.

A further announcement will be issued in due course.
