CORRECTION - HSBC Global Absolute Limited share purchase 
 
On 9 April 2010, HSBC Global Absolute Limited (the "Company") announced that it 
had purchased 356,597 US Dollar Shares at a price of US$1.9858per US Dollar 
Share (the "Original Announcement"). Following this purchase, all 356,597 US 
Dollar Shares purchased were to be cancelled. The information in this 
announcement has now changed. 
 
The Company has purchased 140,576 US Dollar Shares at a price of US$1.9858 per 
US Dollar Share on 9 April 2010, rather than 356,597 US Dollar Shares at a price 
of US$1.9858 per US Dollar Share as stated in the Original Announcement. 
 
Following the purchase, the Company's issued share capital now consists of 
30,908,649 US Dollar shares, 11,291,082 Sterling Hedged shares, and 8,263,856 
Euro Hedged shares. 
 
Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 50,463,587 and 
this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations 
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, 
or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and 
Transparency Rules.
