                       HUNTINGDON MOVES ITS ADR LISTING

              TO THE NASD OVER THE COUNTER MARKET FROM THE NYSE





Huntingdon Life Sciences Group plc announces that effective December 27, 2000,
the Company's American Depository Receipts ("ADRs") are anticipated to
commence quotation on the National Association of Securities Dealers' Over the
Counter Bulletin Board.



The Company's ADRs, as announced in a New York Stock Exchange press release
dated December 21, 2000, shall be suspended from the NYSE listing as of that
date in view of the fact that the Company is below the NYSE's continued
listing criteria.
