Return of Cash

The board of Ingenious Media Active Capital Limited ("the Company" or "IMAC") is pleased to announce its intention to make a return of approximately GBP14.3m to the Company's shareholders ("the Shareholders") of 10p per IMAC share (excluding shares held in treasury) ("the Distribution").

The payment of the Distribution is subject to the passing of a special resolution at the annual general meeting of the Company which is expected to be held on 29 August 2012 ("the AGM") to reduce the Company's capital by an amount equal to the Distribution, and the satisfaction of a solvency test under Guernsey law by the Company ("the Conditions"). A notice of the AGM will be sent to Shareholders in due course.

Subject to the satisfaction of the Conditions, the Distribution is expected to be paid by 19 September 2012 to Shareholders on the register at 5.30pm on 7 September 2012. The corresponding ex-distribution date will be 5 September 2012.

The Company will issue a further announcement following the AGM to confirm whether the Conditions have been satisfied so that the Distribution may be paid.
