Board change

Landkom International PLC (AIM: LKI, "Landkom" or "the Group"), the Ukrainian producer of agricultural commodities, has appointed John Mapplebeck, currently a non-executive director, as finance director with immediate effect. As announced in January, Stephen Pickup is stepping down as finance director and from the Board at the end of March 2010, although he will continue to support the Group in an advisory capacity.

John Mapplebeck has extensive financial and banking experience, both in the UK and internationally. He was previously Global Head of Project Finance at NatWest Group and a Director of several NatWest Group subsidiaries in the UK and Europe. He was a non-executive director of JKX Oil & Gas Plc (with principal assets in Ukraine), as well as Chairman of two private energy companies. He is currently Chairman of a private solar energy company and a non-executive director of GTE Plc.

Neil Balfour, Chairman of Landkom said:

"John, in his capacity as Chairman of the Audit Committee, has already demonstrated a good command of the finances of the Group. I am therefore very pleased to announce that he has now accepted executive responsibility for the Group's finances.

"I am also pleased to announce that Stephen will, after a short break, continue to support us in an advisory role."
