       Lambert Howarth Group p.l.c. ("Lambert Howarth" or the "Company")

Tender Offer by Collins Stewart Limited to purchase Ordinary Shares for up to a 
maximum value of approximately #10 million at a price of between 206 pence and 
246 pence per Ordinary Share

Purchase and cancellation by the Company of successfully tendered Ordinary 
Shares

Further to the announcement on Tuesday, 29 November 2005, when Lambert Howarth
stated that the Tender Offer made by Collins Stewart had become unconditional,
the Company announces that it has today purchased from Collins Stewart and
cancelled all of the 4,854,341 Ordinary Shares successfully tendered under the
Tender Offer. As a result, there are now 20,289,077 Ordinary Shares in issue.

The cancellation of such shares by the Company may be relevant to Shareholders
for reporting purposes under section 198 of the Companies Act.

The consideration for the Tender Offer is expected to be despatched by Tuesday,
6 December 2005 to those Shareholders who have successfully tendered Ordinary
Shares.

Definitions used in this announcement have the same meanings given in the
circular sent to Shareholders dated 2 November 2005, setting out the terms of
and conditions to the Tender Offer.
