                            Annual General Meeting                             

At the Annual General Meeting held today the Chairman, Fred Vinton, gave the
following update to shareholders:

"The retail market continues to be extremely competitive. Although our turnover
is traditionally lower in the first part of the year, the start so far has been
very disappointing and below our expectations.

We have responded to the conditions and this continues with a focus on
customers and products to secure additional sales. Constant attention is being
given to reducing costs and to delivering value to our customers.

We are actively pursuing new licence opportunities and see this as being a key
aspect to the development of the group in the future."
