Potential Fundraising

Lambert Howarth Group plc (the "Company")

As announced on 1 May 2007, the Company requires additional funding and has
been in discussions with various existing shareholders and new investors since
April 2007, however the terms of a potential fundraising have yet to be agreed.
The Company remains in discussions with its lending bank and investors but it
is likely that any fundraising would involve an issue of equity or alternative
convertible instrument at a value that represents a significant discount to the
current share price of 49.50p. There can be no guarantee that such a
fundraising will be completed, in which case the Board would pursue alternative
options which could include the sale of all or part of the Company.

The Company's lending bank remains supportive of this process.

A further announcement will be made when appropriate.
