M&G Income Investment Company Limited (M&G Income) wishes to announce that on
3rd April 2008 it purchased and cancelled 240,000 M&G Income package units at a
price of 96 pence.

Following this transaction the Company's issued share capital comprised:

Zero Dividend Shares 235,414,548
