                          MEM secures Ashes DVD rights


The Board of MEM is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, DD Home
Entertainment Limited ("DDHE"), has secured the exclusive worldwide DVD rights
to the 2005 Ashes Series.  These rights have been secured by way of an exclusive
agreement with Sunset & Vine, the company that produced cricket coverage for
Channel 4, and the English Cricket Board.  DDHE intends to release a 3 disc set
to the retail market in October 2005 and the Board of MEM expects that this will
become the biggest selling sports DVD of the year.


Sales of the Ashes DVD combined with early indications of trading across the
Group for the important pre-Christmas period, including first time revenues from
DDHE's new contract with ITV announced in June, gives the Board confidence that
the Group will achieve its objectives for the full financial year to 31 March
2006.  As in prior years, the Group will report a loss for the six months to 30
September which, in the current year, will be greater than that of 2004.  The
Board believes this is primarily as a result of the more pronounced seasonality
of the business which has arisen as the DVD publishing activities grow and
develop.
