                                Issue of shares



Further to the announcement of 4 October 2004, Monkleigh Plc ("the Company")
announces that it has issued an aggregate of 1,000,000 new ordinary shares of 2
pence each ("Ordinary Shares") to Martin and Shirley Chick for a consideration
of #150,000.



Following this issue their interests in the Company are:

Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM with
effect from 14 October 2004.



The Company has also been informed that Mr Jon Moulton is interested in 500,000
Ordinary Shares, representing 6.1 per cent. of the issued ordinary share
capital.
