RMS Communications plc (the "Company")

Further to the suspension of the Company's listing on Monday, 12 October 1998,
the Directors of RMS Communications plc regret to announce they are unable to
prepare their accounts on a going concern basis.  They have subsequently
invited Terry Carter and Alan Bloom of Ernst & Young to act as Administrators
for the Company's subsidiary, RMS Communications Systems Ltd.  Ernst & Young
was appointed on 26 October 1998 and is currently reviewing the Company's
position.
