DIRECTORATE CHANGE

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, NewRiver announces that Chris Taylor has notified his intention to step down as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 9 April 2017.

Chris, who joined the Board in March 2012 and has played a key role in the growth of NewRiver during that period, is to focus on his increasing responsibilities at Hermes Investment Management, where he is the Head of Private Markets. A search for a replacement is to be commenced immediately.

Paul Roy, Non-Executive Chairman of NewRiver, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Chris for his major contribution to NewRiver. Chris has been a very strong advocate of the NewRiver business model and has brought considerable experience and insight to the Board.
