                    Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc ("OHM") 
 
                     First Tranche of Placing Shares issued 
 
Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping advises that following the announcement of 8th 
April regarding the Placing, in two tranches, of 21,000,000 new Ordinary Shares 
at 16 pence per share, the first tranche of 3,475,000 Ordinary Shares under the 
Placing have now been issued and admitted to trading. The Placing price 
represented a premium of approximately 220 per cent. to the closing mid-market 
price the day before the announcement of 8 April 2010.
