Project Telecom - Presentation to institutional fund managers



TUESDAY, 12 November 2002 - Project Telecom plc, the leading virtual network
operator focused on the business market, announces that a group of institutional
fund managers will attend a presentation, being held today at the company's head
office in Newark, to outline management's strategy for continued growth of the
business.



The presentation will cover a range of factors expected to influence the future
development of Project Telecom as well as providing details of plans for the
continued growth of the company's customer base and the introduction of new
wireless data and fixed line services.



Management will also confirm that the closure of the Retail Services Division is
being completed in line with the withdrawal plan announced with the Group's
interim results on 29 August 2002.  In particular, the company will confirm that
the stock position has successfully been unwound and that the collection of the
debtor book is proceeding as planned and management remains confident that this
will be completed by the year end.



On the basis of trading so far in the second half of 2002, management is
confident of delivering results for the current financial year in line with
market expectations.
