                              Director resignation

Further to the announcement on 31 March 2008 that the Company has closed and
ceased operations of its water desalination business, ReEnergy Desalination Inc.
("RDI"), ReEnergy announces that Dr. Grant Jones has resigned as an executive
director of the Company with immediate effect. Dr. Jones was previously Group
Managing Director (Water Treatment Services) with responsibility and
accountability for the management of RDI.

The Board wishes to thank Dr. Jones for his help and contribution to the
Company.
