The Board of SPG Media Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr
Adrian Howe as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Howe is Chief Executive of Band-X Limited, a wholesale provider of outsourced
telecommunications services. Prior to Band-X, Mr Howe had eleven years
commercial experience in the telecommunications industry in a number of
different finance management positions; including Level 3 Communications as
European CFO, Telewest plc and BT plc.  Mr Howe qualified as a Chartered
Accountant with KPMG in London, after graduating from Oxford University with a
degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Mr Howe will chair the Audit Committee taking over from Mr Christopher Haines.
